According to a recent survey by London-based education consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has secured the highest ranking in a survey of the world’s best young universities.
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) came in second. There were over 100 universities surveyed based on criteria like research citations, academic and employer reputation, faculty-to-student ratio, and diversity of faculty and student communities.
The top six universities in the latest league table are all from Asia, including Korea.
According to data from Thomson Reuters, NTU has also lead the other top Asian universities in normalised citation impact for the past two years.
Earlier this year, NTU was also named the world’s fastest-rising young university by Times Higher Education.
