There will be nine schools offering the Enhanced Art Programme (EAP) and four schools with Enhanced Music Programme (EMP) from 2016, the Ministry of Education announced on Wednesday (May 27).
Additionally, the ministry announced there will be one Art Elective Programme (AEP) centre and two Music Elective Programme (MEP) centres appointed from 2016, designed for students with passion and talent for art or music who are not enrolled in the schools that host these programmes currently.
The secondary level AEP and MEP are four-year programmes. Students in the AEP or MEP will take Higher Art or Higher Music at O-Level.
